New Business Start Up

Remit- To provide branding fro a new Chip Shop which could be used on all literature, clothing etc.

Process - No graphic designer can truly understand what the customer wants or needs without consultation.  After getting an idea of the colour scheme and design style the customer  wanted, we could get to work.  With the general brand agreed it was time to work out how best to use it.  Once again this meant one to one discussion with the customer.

Dean had an idea of what he’d like for colours etc, though these changed during the process. This meant re-colouring the logo for new scheme. Flyers/Menus were printed, polo shirts and hats embroidered and advert pushed on Facebook.

Opening day saw queues around the block, and Dean has continued to thrive.

Annual Event

Remit- Produce a quality programme for a local charity event.

Process - Pilgrim Designs was asked to produce a 20 page event programme for Millom Bike Group. This was quite a new venture and the organisers wanted a quality publication that people would be willing to pay for and thus raise money for Great North Air Ambulance and North West Air Ambulance.

The contents was a mixture of articles, advertising and showground map. I had to make sure the brochure flowed making people want to turn the next page to the end. The majority of advertisers didn’t have their own design, so Pilgrim Designs did these too.

A high spec printing finish was required, which made the publication look worth the asking price.

All the copies were sold and this year sees Pilgrim Designs putting together the 4th Annual  Event Programme.
